A volte ritornano

Jody Williams, nella foto qui sotto con Howlin' Wolf

è un apprezzato chitarrista della scena blues di Chicago.
Lavora come session men per la Chess negli anni '50 collaborando
con tutti i più grandi bluesmen dell'epoca.
Lavora anche come solista utilizzando diversi nomi d'arte.
Disilluso dal mondo musicale da cui non riceve i crediti che gli sono dovuti.
Tanto che alcuni dei suoi riffs vengono rubati ed utilizzati per degli hits di
artisti bianchi dell'epoca.
Negli anni '60 decide di mollare tutto , studia elettronica e diventa un
tecnico della Xerox per 25 anni.
ma il richiamo del blues è troppo forte e nel 2002 torna sulle scene con un
nuovo album con moltissimi ospiti che finalmente gli dedicano il dovuto tributo.
